And with nearly half of the world’s adult population facing elections this year, the flood of disinformation poses a never-before-seen threat to democracies worldwide. But amidst chaos, there’s hope, of course. How can machine learning and pattern recognition help us navigate this complex landscape? And more importantly, how can we build resilience to counter falsehoods in the long term?
